The Art Of Poetry 

Moby Arts Celebrates National Poetry Month with sustainable fashion, and art while listening to a very special poetry reading by the legendary Poet Roni Girl and Angelo Moore of musical group Fishbone.

Showcasing poetry inspired art by artist MRSNSTENCILS, HERO, Trusty Scribe, and Amy Smith. 

Angelo Carmen Christopher Moore is an American musician, best known for his work as lead singer and saxophonist for the Los Angeles ska and funk metal band Fishbone. Angelo Moore, lead singer and saxophonist of the band Fishbone, devotes his life crafting art through spoken word, music, and fashion.

Poet Roni Girl is a Los Angeles based Poet & Upcycled Fashion Designer. A few notable experiences include her original poetry being recited by Grammy Award Singer Brandy on the hit show Moesha and headlining The Comedy Store for 5 years.

Poet Roni Girl’s poetry combines old-school hip hop flava infused with down home blues and blue note Jazz. Her lyrics are recycled poems that speaks of Jazz Tales & hip hop lullabies.

As a designer, inspired by her veteran parents Roni creates one-of-a-kind upcycled camo couture using recycled fabrics and textiles. You will have a chance to shop the new collaboration collection by Amy Smith and Poet Roni Girl mixing both styles to create dynamic wearable poetic art.

From wearable art to a group art show  at the Moby Arts gallery space. Sip on your mimosa and take in the art by street artists MRSNSTENCILS, HERO, Trusty Scribe, and Amy Smith curated by Amy Smith and Moby Arts.
